Adventuring into Film Photography

All photos in this post are taken with a Nikon F2.

If you made it here, welcome ( and thank you ).

I’m excited to go on this journey together.

This past summer, I poured myself into the art and adventure of shooting with film. I found myself losing interest in picking up my camera amidst one of the busiest years my business has seen. I picked up my first film camera in June, and immediately felt the same passion and admiration for photography I felt when I bought my first DSLR back in 2012. Being forced to slow down and practice intentionality with every step of the process swept me off my feet. From carefully loading the film into the camera, metering each shot for light, and being mentally present while taking each photo, I have gained so much fulfillment. My New Years Resolution for the past ( at least ) 4 years has been to be more intentional and present in every day life, and I never imagined that film photography was the missing piece of that puzzle for me.

In this blog post I’ve included some of my favorite photos taken on my Nikon F2.

Thank you for taking a look, and for supporting me through each adventure and challenge I take on.

I love you all.

If you made it this far, thanks for sticking around.

With love,

Kennedy
