October 2022 | A Full Rebrand

Wow. It’s officially that time.

I’ve been toying with this idea for a long time but never had the resources to put it into action until now.
Rebranding my photography business is something that I needed to do for many reasons, the main reason being for me. I needed a fresh start as I transition to photography being my career rather than it being something I do in addition to my day job. To some people, it may not look like much has changed, but I promise everything from my logo to my client experience has been reworked so I can be the best version of myself.

I couldn’t wait to follow my dreams any longer so on October 1st I quit my day job (not before putting in a one-month notice of course, what can I say… my boss was/is one of my biggest cheerleaders. Hey, Jenn. Quitting wasn’t easy — I had so much love and support coming my way from my coworkers. Bigger than that, though, I was scared to death. What if I failed? What if I couldn’t handle it? I realized those fears were exactly why I had to take on this adventure. I had to prove to (or remind) myself that I’m resilient and that this is what I’m meant to be doing in life.

I talk frequently within my business about being authentic, and vulnerable, and about showing up as your true self so that’s exactly how I plan to use this corner of my website. I’ll be posting anything from recent sessions to life updates to travel photos to maybe even a gluten-free cookie recipe here and there. I’m allowing this to be my space to tell my story alongside yours.

There’s no hiding that photography has been my passion for a very long time. I’ve been doing it for over 10 years, and still get butterflies during every single session. Sometimes I cry while I’m editing as I reminisce on what these photographs truly mean, I tear up during the dances and vows at every wedding, and my heart wells up when I see how big my clients’ kiddos are getting. When I sit and think how 10, 20, even 50 years from now the photographs I take will be the source of family conversations, memories, and documentation of lives lived, I get so sentimental and I feel so grateful.

Now’s the part where I want to extend a thank you to every single person who’s been along for the adventure these past 10 years, and to everybody that comes to support me from this point on. I genuinely couldn’t have made this happen without the love and acceptance from all of my clients, family, and friends.

Below I’ve included some graphics to showcase the new look for Kennedy Crissinger LLC.

Thank you for taking time out of your day for me to take a look.

Love,

Kennedy
